Coldest temperatures your EcoBoost has seen
What is the coldest temperatures that your EcoBoost has seen? Any issues when the weather is really cold? Anyone use a block heater when it's really cold? I'm planning a trip to North Dakota at the end of December. Just want to make sure I have everything covered.

They survive up here in Canada with no problems at all. Usually people begin to plug vehicles in if it's -15C (-25F?) during the day and colder overnight. You should have absolutely no issues, provided your vehicle is in proper working conditions.

-42 I believe. I started it not plugged in once at that temp and it fired right up, I usually plug in for below -20C but that was a surprise drive. They don't warm up too awesome, although not as bad as a diesel. Probably the best vehicle I've driven that cold. Usually they feel like a brick of ice their so stiff and brittle. This one wasn't.

I think we had a few days approach 0F this past winter, didn't feel the need to plug in the block heater. Figured if my work van E-150 starts up in -25F (no block heater) with no problems, the F-150 should be ok.
