Glad I could give you guys a few laughs!

Light was off yesterday so its off to the mechanic for inspection today. Then I'll have to stop at Ford and have them look at it.

Are you filling up with the ignition on or engine running by chance?

I was going to ask the same thing. Make sure it's not running when you fill it up.

I've been having the same issue for the last month. I've notice that when I fill up, the next day the CEL will come on with P0451 but when I go down below half a tank it goes away. My warranty just ran out. I haven't noticed any performance difference or change in the MPG although it's a little hard to say since we've been in the freezing winter weather lately. My truck is a 2010 5.4L XLT SCrew with 63,000km
Did you find a solution? Any help would be appreciated.

I just dropped off my truck at Ford Country out here in Nevada. I will post an update. I have the same code for my check engine light.

In the past, dont know about the new F150, topping off the tank could cause EVAP codes. That is when you keep putting gas in after the pump kicks off on its own.

I'm going to pick up my truck later today. New parts on order. Apparently it's the little capless fuel door that's causing the problem. Hopefully the problem with you truck gets resolved soon.

The capless filler on my '10 was flawless for 3 years, and the one on my '13 works perfectly too. Love the design.
