Default Can you order and then cancel

Can you order a new truck, and then cancel it before taking delivery of the vehicle? Will it cost anything? Just thinking about buying one, but still worried about the intercooler condensation problem.

Make up your mind before you order......if you are THAT scared of the IC condensation discussion, then don't order one............However, if you want a truck that is impressive in the extreme, tows like a monster, drives like a dream, gets high teens mpg in town, and low 20's on the highway, is just flat FUUUUUUN to get into the throttle, breaks the tires loose so easily it's ridiculous.......then the EB may just be for you.

Honestly one of the best descriptions. Ford should use that in one of those commercials.

Really? You have a 1 in a 100,000 chance of getting a bad one. You at least have those odds with any other vehicle on the road.

Most of the time when you order you put down a deposit. If you cancel, they cash the check. If you don't cancel, they hand you the check back.

The F-150 offers 4 engines, only one of which are maybe slightly affected by a "condensation problem", so order one of the other 3 if it really bothers you so much.

Agree with above. Ford makes three excellent engines without intercoolers to choose from.

You can get the 5.0l, that if crazy strong for the displacement, has break the tire loose acceleration, gets 17mpg or better city, as high as 21mpgs highway, that deep throaty V8 sounds a truck should have without the worry of having a turbo engine. Tows great, runs smooth, and hauls **** when you want, plus you can full up with a tank of ethanol, and **** off ecoboost owners all day long outrunning them!

Hmmm......but you can't get the max tow package in the 5.0.....wonder if that has anything to do with the torque peak on the 5.0 being waaaay up there in the 4,600 rpm range, while the EB peaks practically just off of idle.....lets put 9,000 pounds behind both of our trucks and tow up a hill, with a rule that you can't go over 3,000 rpm....
I do miss the V8 sound/rumble though sometimes and its hard to hear the exhaust noise on all those other V8's behind me.....I grew up on some GREAT V8's. I'm sure that the Coyote engine is a nice mill too......
