No, I haven't gotten a round tuit yet.
you are correct, the 2011 workshop manual calls it a IAT sensor, the 2012 calls it a Turbocharger Intake Pressure and Temperature Sensor.

Ok so how about some revised detections how how to install this. Parts, material and what part of the turbo to install it on. It sounds pretty bad @$$. Also is it fairly easy or a hard project?

I have a 12. I can do this to mine and be all good? I only have 6200 miles on mine. I don't want to mess any thing up. I live the turbo sounds. I like riding between two buildings and hearing them.

My understanding is that the '12's are the same as the '11's.

Thanks Mike, I've been running this mod for about 10,000 miles now and just wanted to see if there where any effects anyone noticed. (besides less mpg..lol)

For anyone interested, I used the same parts, the silicone caps, and the Air filter, I used the stock hose. I found it easier to leave the house in place instead of trying to remove it. I have not noticed any oil from the filters.
