Is there any way you could get a pic of how you have the purge valve hooked up? The instructions with the 5star kit were kinda vague on that one. I will be installing mine as soon as my new tuner arives and want to be sure I know what I'm doing.

I didn't have any instructions since I bought mine off of a friend but what I did "right or wrong" was hook a vacuum line up to the bottom of it and ran it to the top vacuum port on the manifold.

Didn't like how my K&N cold air kit was fitting after installing the boss intake so after a lil contemplating then cutting using my saw zall this is what I came up with:

Yup, by cutting it I was able to spin the elbow back in line so I could use the air box like it was designed to work. Look at the before and after pics and you can tell by the K&N logo how much I spun it around to line back up.

Stock intake angles the throttle body up while the boss angles it down.

Same as always, chance you may not be covered. Depends on your dealer and they have to say that the intake caused the problem for it not to be covered. However if you are going thus far can't go crazy worrying about warranty IMO. Gotta pay to play lol. The tune it takes to run this mod definitely voids warranty if they wanted to dig deep and look at your pcm flashes. If are really worried about your warranty stay stock.

Sorry man, been busy as hell, put in 72 hours this week. Anyway, did get the boss installed and dyno'd it Wednesday. I was worried about torque loss down low to be honest after reading several reviews. I actually gain some torque down low after playing with the tune awhile and from 4500 RPM+ the gains are really felt in "seat of your pants" and the dyno shows the same results. Subtle did in my midrange numbers approx. 5 lbs or tq. End results were peak gains of 34 HP and 28 tq. Overall i was very happy with the results, now just wanting to see what happens at the track

My buddy should email me the dyno graph (maybe he already has) im off work next few days going to go test it out on the street.
