Definitely looking forward to see the outcome. I believe I may be developing a manifold leak so I was gonna swap them out this spring & figured since I'm gonna have to remove the turbos anyways I might as well replace them with better ones...

maybe try an old school manual boost controller and see how it runs. It's not a permanent fix but may help rule some things out.

I may have to spend some money on one. I dont want too but i may have no choice to see whats going on. I tested the wastegate harness with ignition on and got 9v so it has power dont know why it wont work

Hey guys just logged my new tune from Mike and it works! Its a stock limited tune though. Runs smoothly no shudder bucking feeling. Log showed i hit 8.5psi with 25% duty cycle this time. I dono what this means but it must of been a tuning issue.? Either way truck is running in stock power form. Now i wait till monday for a response

Very glad to hear it doesn't seem to be mechanical. Tuner should be able to get you sorted out.

Just tested out revision 4 and same thing as the others. Its getting pretty frustrating after spending soo much money and my truck runs like crap. Mike said its hard to tune because my truck strategy doesnt have sct support yet. So hes kind of tuning in the dark. Hes very helpful and still is trying his best. He made a request to sct back on jan.11 so may have to wait until they release an update

I know it's more money out of pocket but have you thought about trying LET Tuning? I thought Full-Race used them for their tuning and I believe LET has their own upgraded turbo's also. Maybe his experience could help...

I almost bought the same turbo upgrade as you when the Black Friday sale was going on (price was really tempting) but couldn't make myself pull the trigger and just ordered the Full-Race downpipe for now.

I called 5star since they have the same turbos for sale on their site. His response was they only tuned for them once for the Borg Warner test truck. He also said he was only 75% sure he could even tune them. So im just gonna wait for Mike to get this figured out. I trust him the most as he has tuned some crazy f150s before including their shop truck which is now making over 600hp!
