Right? Seems counter-productive. Fun thread!

LOVE the GNs!! Always wanted one................. and a Syclone.

Ok.. guess ill contribute.

First up is one of my sand toys...... Frame is a full chromoly 1.25" mid engine Sanrails MFG. Motor is a 2332 fully forged aircooled VW. Handmade turbo kit by me. It runs a t3/t4 .63/stage III hotside with a to4e/60-1 cold side. Side draft weber for carburetion. Makes around 300 whp and weighs 900 lbs with me in it......

Next is my latest project. Project 10 seconds for under $3000. My backround in turbos starts with DSMs back in the late 90s. Me and a bunch of buddies had these "shltty ricer 4 bangers" back in ~1998. We learned how to mod them and ended up whipping on many many v8 loud mouths. I had a 1992 GSX Eclipse that went 11.5 @ 126 mph back in '99 or '00. The amount of attention that car got back then was ridiculous... it was so quiet and never cut a good 60' but it would eat everyone on the back half of the track and win... good times.

Anyway... I just picked up this all wheel drive base model Laser (crank windows and manual locks LOL) for $1000 about 3 months ago. I happen to have a 0 mile fully forged 4G63 (eagle rods/wiseco pistons) with a Holset HX35 hanging off of it sitting on an engine stand that i horse traded and ended up getting for free (long story). That motor gets dropped in, DSMLink for engine tuning is added, install fuel system i have left over from years ago and WHOALA........... easy 10s @ 130-135 mph all day long.

@ Rick

OK OK.. we get it you win
Both the GT and the GT1000 look like something somebody dreamt up and put the best of every single part imaginable on. Absolutely amazing
And that Escalade would be fun just seeing the looks on peoples faces as you dusted them in a 7k SUV by the time you load it up and fill every seat belt.

Here is my other turbo ride...pretty much on par with what else had been posted I'd say.
The dog is actually a pretty good diver..when he's not hung over.

That sand buggy of yours is cool as hell. Have you ever heard of a Sand National? I saw this a while back on the TurboBuick forum. I thought you might enjoy this.

All this turbo sand toy talk reminds me of a sweet build on one of the snowmobile sites... xtreme motorworks out of WA... took a Raptor, gutted it, and stuffed a yamaha nytro engine in it with an impulse BIG boost kit (25lbs!)... and came up with this... here's a few pics but the complete build is here...

Friend bought a yamaha nytro this summer and is currently looking at doing a kit this winter. Thinking a head shim and one of the impulse kits, push makes a good kit but they lack the big power of impulse and their electronics are garbage. Can't wait to finish it.
