Default Anyone had an oil leak on their Eco Boost

I took my truck in for what I thought was the transmission leaking. It exhibited all of the identifiers for the previous mentioned transmission leak, but the service manager is telling me that it is an engine oil leak? He couldn't tell me from where though because he hadn't talked with the tech to get all of the information???

I hate to call BS on them at this point, but I have only had the truck 4 weeks........

Anyone else out there had any oil leak issues with their Eco??

I haven't heard of any oil leak issues. I would take a trip up to the dealer and see for myself.

Default Is it red?

Check the color of the discharge, red = tranny fluid

I just got mine back from having it in for an oil leak on a gravity fed line to the intercooler. The o-ring had a slice in it. Dealer said not a big deal could wait but I work from home 2 days a week so they had the part sent overnight fixed it and even washed the truck very happy with the service.

Update from my dealer. Apparently they did a die test and the o-rings in the turbos are bad and it is causing the oil leak and they assured me that it was not the transmission.

I hope this is not a sign of what's to come with my new truck!

Made it 5 days and the oil leak is back. Looks like I am headed back to the dealer in the morning and it is back to rental car land.

How hard can it be to correct a leaking oil return line on a turbo?

Any word on what the end result was? I went through an inspection on my ECB and found a seeping oil leak on the front passengers side near the front cover, particularly near the top bolt that holds the AC compressor. It's so darn cramped on that side that I can't tell where it's coming from...

Any other ECB owners have this? I can see the seeping from the front just above the ac compressor...

I noticed an oil leak on the lower front passenger side of my EB and it was the turbo return oil line that was leaking. According to the dealer the line was just loose and they tightened it. No leaks for the last 7k miles. Bought the truck in Feb. And I have nearly 13K on the ODO.

I'll check the lines today...
