Default Anyone care to comment on the '13 EBs?

First, I know there are two sticky threads on EB performance issues, and people with prior-to-'13 models appear to be working their way through the CAC TSB process, waiting for parts on b/o, etc.

It looks like most of the people posting in those threads do in fact have pre '13 models, and while the replacement CAC may be similar in functionality to the newly designed CAC in the '13s, I believe there are some minor differences due to retrofitting.

Shoot me if I missed it, but it may be worth starting a thread where '13 EB owners with the factory installed CAC report on performance. I don't think there have been enough repairs yet to previous year trucks to really know if the current fix is good, but figured there must be more '13s on the street than prior years that have been retrofitted with the new CAC. I for one would love to hear from more (and specifically) '13 owners on any similar problems, or hopefully lack thereof.

Mine came with the upgraded components. Living it so far. Only have about 2500 miles on it. Mileage started around 15 in town. Edging that up to 16+ babying it. Lots of get up and go. No towing yet. But looking forward to pulling a 6 k trailer.

2013 EB screw lariat 4x4 3.55, everything except chrome packages.

I just got my 13 no performance issues here. Built Oct 12, anything built after Sept 18/12 received a newly designed CAC.

My 12 eb FX4 is great no issues with engine. It has the older CAC design. My dads 13 platinum EB is great however it does have the newer CAC with shield over the upper portion.

My 12 looks like it has the cover over the CAC. It was built Aug '12. I'll post a pic when I get back in town Monday.
