Default same problem

I had a 2011 f150 ecoboost xlt screw. this happened to me shortly after i bought it. I took it othe dealer and they acted like this was a unheard of. Said that there was no code and that there was nothing that could be done. short time later it happened again, this time it coded, P3060. misfire on cylinder 6. I took it to the dealer and they said that ford is aware of it and that until they come up with a fix there is nothing that they can do. finally they called me and said ford has a fix, they recalibrated my computer as they explained it, guess what, it happend three more times, only now it doesnt code. Each time i took it in, nothing could be done so i traded it off on a 2012 ford f150 FX4 5.0. Apparently its hit or miss with some ecoboosts. Sorry to hear you are having the same problem, hope you get it figured out.

Just got the call from the dealer. They said they found nothing wrong and that Ford stated they have no knowledge of such an issue. I guess my wife will have to use the videos to go after Ford when I get killed because of this issue. Time to trade.

I wouldn't worry about the trade. 95% of people on forums come to complain or look for a problem theyve encountered. The other 99% of F150 owners have probably never experienced these issues, or not noticed them. I have a number of friends with eb's and none have noticed a hiccup, nor have I in 70,000 hard km.

I've had it with mine. In the shop again and as of tomorrow a total of 34 days since Christmas. When I get it back I'm going to try the lemon law or see if I can trade it and buy a Dodge. I've had the trans leak, the steering rack replaced, the "miss" and now the turbo blows off after the update was installed. Biggest problem right now I'm facing though is that after 13.5K miles I need new tires because the fronts are worn out on the inside .. yes, I have rotated them and had it aligned twice now. I'm probably going to lose when I get rid of this thing but I can't afford to spend $1000 a year on tires either. Been a Ford guy all my life .. until now.

Got mine back from dealer today, they said that it was prob the TC activating in rainy conditions. It happened 3 times on my road trip. Every time it was raining, or just finished raining. They said their is nothing they can do and were not sure why the check engine light came on. No codes when they checked it. I guess my truck hates rain! Lol!

Ford called me today and said they have a fix. They said something about the throttle position sensor. Got my service scheduled for next Wednesday.

Well for the record... I am only complaining because I love my truck and want it fixed. Now with that being said, Ford has performed a PCM update last thursday, and then called late Friday and said to bring it in so they could replace the cat converter. I truly hope this solves the problem. I drove an identical truck to mine with a 6.2 and wow... the eco is the hands down winner, so keeping my fingers crossed they have found the fix. Oh and my truck has over 24,000 miles in just under 10 months, so I drive alot also!
