Any problems with the 6.2L?

I love my 6.2L F150 max tow and it works great with my 14' tandem 6-7k loaded trailer. The thing is, if I was towing 50% of the time or greater something around 10k, I would go F250 and probably diesel. I would also get the biggest fuel tank I could. I don't like to run at max spec all the time. I don't like to stop a lot for fuel then be forced to double run the pumps because of the 100 dollar limit most places.

Yes, it will hit 28 on the highway, cruise on, at 55 mph.
Yes, I will average 17 or so mixed.
But the EB is horrific when used on short trips, especially if you tend o use remote start.
Mine is 15 months old and has 3400 miles on it.
My lifetime mpg as per the computer is, wait for it....

To be honest, you are doing better than I do with my EB.

Especially if in those short trips you find yourself pushing your right foot to the floor... you know, 'cause it just feels cool! lol

I get 15.5 on the interstate cruising 75
I get 12.5 around town, stop & go, 40 limit
I get 10.5 pulling 6k lbs with 8x8' frontal area enclosed tandem (6th locked out, running 70 mph)
I have 3.73 gears max tow.
These are very consistent numbers for me and I have 6500 total miles with 3400 miles towing.
I never get the super high mpg's that I often see others report. Maybe it's just me or the TX roads/gas. I can live with these numbers and I love how solid the motor sounds & feels.

I get 16-17 on the interstate cruising 75 (level ground like TX)
I get 13.5 around town, stop & go, 40 limit
I get 11 pulling the same trailer
Engine feels stronger than the day I bought it. I think the truck has loosened up as well. Factory tires gone at 30k and I'm happy to see them go.
