Because we all bought 6.2 for the fuel economy and for our inner tree hugger to be happy..... Lol

I just got the best MPG so far in not the best conditions, above EPA estimates.

350 of this highway, in 4x4 high half the time and AWD the other half, 500lbs in the bed and 4 adults running speeds from 50-75mph. Hand calculations came out exactly the same.

Man, If I had the money and was able to do it before production stopped on the 2014's I would have ordered a loaded lariat Scab with the black leather, 20's HID's, 3.73 locker, off road package and the 6.2L!! Probably in Ruby Red.

I really love my 2013 5.0 but.....that was always the dream truck for me, you guys with the 6.2 F-150's have some nice rare trucks on your hands, keep them in good shape!

Just ordered a borla cat back exhaust today. Merry Christmas to me. I'll try and post a video of before and after.

2,600 miles on the 6.2L Plat with 1,500 on it since the 93 perf tune. I love this engine. It pulls so hard and just snaps off the line. The engine is great but you need the perf tune to really enjoy it. The factory shifts are terrible and the tune keeps it in 4th gear much longer and ready to pounce!

Wink

Just thought I'd give a little update. Since hunting season is over for me now, I brought my Polaris Ranger HD home from my place in Burlington, West Virginia. It's a 265 mile trip to my home here in Delaware. The first half is all mountains and hills. The last half is a bit hilly then flat. I have an enclosed trailer I use to tow it with. The trailer is a 7x14 Homesteader Challenger. It's a V-nose tandem axle that I had custom built to have a 7' door so I could get the Ranger in. So it's quite tall. I'm estimating the trailer (2,020 lbs.) loaded with the Ranger (1,250 lbs.) and it's gear is around 3,500 lbs. or so. I had maybe 250 lbs. or so of gear in the rear of the truck and in the bed. The trip home - I was running a 5-star 91oct. Tow tune on my Livewire. It was very nice weather, temps varied from 32 deg. to 70 deg. as I got closer to home. I was in some lite crosswinds. My average once I got home was 11.6 mpg. The instant MPG started out at like 8 mpg in the mountains. Once I got on the hilly highways it started to level out. By the time I was on flat roads I hit the 11.9 mpg mark. Just for a moment I hit 12 mpg. But that didn't last. It finally leveled off, bouncing at 11.6-11.7 mpg. And that's what the average on my "B" trip ended up being. The "B" I use "Per Trip". So I don't think that's too shabby for towing a 9' tall wall behind me. In fact on all but the highest down grades I didn't even have to hit the brakes to slow. Now That's Drag.....

Well, I just tried to post up some pics from both my computer and to my albums, but it won't let me. I'll try again later....

Funny? I just tried to load some pics to my albums over at another sight and still won't let me. Looks like it uses the same program as this site. Must be a problem on their end I guess?
