Default Amsoil 0W30

Getting ready for my first oil change. I'm leaning towards going with 0-30 vs the 5-30. Talked to the dealership who didn't see it as a problem. I only put on about 15k kms a year and typically change out the oil filter half way through the year. Any thought…

I used nothing but amsoil in my motorcycles, (M109, VTX1800) and I was pleased with the performance of it. That being said I never tried it in a car or truck application.

Go to that website called bobistheoilguy.com I think that's it. Read the oil university section to teach yourself about oil. Best reading you can do. You'll see how much sense 0W30 makes. Good move.

Going to a full syn too soon can prolong your break in some say. Don't know if its true but makes sense to give the motor some time for everything to seat good.

I assume by your pic you have an ecoboost. They all come with semi-syn from factory

Yup, I don't know why so many people keep thinking that. A semi synthetic is usually only around 15 - 25% synthetic.
