I like mine. After a little bit of time you don't really notice the sucking sound under the hood. Just got done installing my Solo down pipe coupled with the Solo MR400 cat back exhaust.

Between those two you can't hear the intake anyway. LOL. Boy the down pipe sure did give it a deeper exhaust tone!

BTW did anyone receive the lid to the air box? Mine came with the soft rubber seal and I see holes tapped for some kind of faster but no lid in the box.

Ok I might as well add to this....

Bought this intake off of eBay ( thru AFE). They shipped it out very fast and I was impressed with the build quality and such. Instal was easy and took about 30 min.

Now I went to my cabin which I have done a ton of times and I noticed a slight decrease in mpg, no noticeable power gain and a very annoying popping sound from the intake. It sounds like a backfire of some kind from the intake and I cannot stand it!! You can hear it in the truck, highway speeds, windows up and music at a normal level.

I've been in touch with Afe and they say they are attempting to resolve this issue. When I got home I immediately put the stock system on and have been much happier since. I'm hoping afe stands up and accepts this product as their eBay ad stated or else I'll most likely be going thru PayPal for a refund or putting up here for sale.

Lid sold separately. I actually made one from clear lexan awhile back to see if it changed my intake temps, not a lot of difference.

FR posted a dyno where they saw gains in spool time from adding an intake that fed each turbo individually (most likely AFE stage 2). I think they are going to start designing one of their own now, I'm anxiously awaiting.

FR is working on their own design for an intake, too...right? They actually made me start considering one as my next mod...I'm all about faster spool speed.

I just sold my AFE today. I just couldn't stand that noise it made. Sounded like my Ecoboost had a cold.
