Jason first you say 5250 rule doesn't apply now you say it does. I realize you are not a "tech" guy and are more of a sales guy but you made similar error in regards to MAF and MAP situation. Something still doesn't look right with new dyno chart that was "printed" today. I'll have to look more closely on my computer rather than my phone but can others please look closely at it and see if it looks legit.

Ok now that I can see it on a full screen I see where they cross..But I am confused on the HP scale..Stock it shows that it nevers goes above 240 HP and that's at about 4500 RPM.. I figured that with 365 HP at the crank (stock) that at the rear wheels would be at least about 80 percent of that so about 290..Forgive my ignorance if i am way off base on that just trying to really get a read on this new chart that was re-printed today due to the "scale" being wrong previously??.. I am still learning how to read dyno charts so any direction would help me to understand better.. I attached the Airaid chart below..If you look the stock HP is right around the 290 mark at top end of RPM and at 4500 it is at around 275..Which seems more accurate and reliable that the AFE chart.. Any clarification by anyone would be appreciated..thanks

I will say I do know that the AFE dyno is a mustang dyno. They generally read lower then a dynojet from what I understand. However they tend to be better for tuning due to the loading capabilities of the dyno. A lot of people say if you want numbers to brag about go to a dynojet if you want the best tuning go to a mustang dyno.

Also the "dyno sheet" from ariad is not a real dyno sheet is is a reproduction for sales purposes, The dyno sheet from AFE looks to be a real sheet however there could be some fudging

Yes the Airaid chart is designed for people to be able to read and understand it for marketing reasons however the "stock" lines on the Airaid at least appear to be accurate. Not so with AFE chart. Who knows though. They can all be tweaked and fudged to help make a sale though

Also Jason, Steven told me on the phone (when you were having production issues) that I could change my filters to the oiled filters. So I did. Then when it shipped it had the dry. I asked him and he said he was going to just ship the 5r filters free due to the troubles. Is he still going to do that ?

Another issue potentially also is the dyno grpahs need to state if SAE Corrected or not. It's basically a formula that taken into effect the humidity, elevation and temperature of when said dyno pulls are done since all 3 can affect a pull done on the rollers.

SAE to STD should be +2.6xxx% difference correction factor no matter where you are located typically.

Not to rub anything in but I am surely not regretting my decision to hold off on purchasing this product. I have followed this thread for a while now getting good information throughout. It has also raised some eyebrows in terms of this product and the operation of AFE. Honestly it makes me wonder how much R&D was done before putting the product on the market. Now the odd dyno results with no valid explanations are cause for concern. I only hope they can get this moving in the right direction.
