Just my 2 cents, The AFE intakes really require a recal to the maf transfer function to run properly since the tube is larger than factory dia. I have noticed more sound will come from the intake when pcm is not calibrated for the intake at light to med throttle. Dont get me wrong doesn't eliminate all sounds like at wide open throttle. To help combat the wot sounds we created a heavy duty top/lid to fit on top of AFE's housing, it has helped reduce 50% of the sounds.. again just my 2 cents.

Did you ever get a video so we could hear it? Did you notice any power increases?

Here is vid at wot hard to tell the sound, normal driving is quiet mid throttle makes more noise. I will try to get a better vid later. I also tried lid on and off no power difference.

i got the same intake and the silver bullet spacer and the noise does bug when towing but when driving normal its fine and i didnt see any power increase at all. it seams to me like i need some 5star tuning...im going to check you guys out.

Is that the afe stage 1 or stage 2 intake and what is the difference ?

That is a stage 2 intake. The stage 2 comes with an after market intake tube, filter, and filter box. The Stage 1 would come with just the filter and the box.
