If you do drive it on the 93 oct tune with 87 oct fuel, just drive it easy and stay out of boost... Driving it normal is not going to put it under a lot of load.... Just take it easy until the fuel runs out.

STAY OUT OF BOOST.

Unless you are running this -
Torco

Then your "octane booster" at most will only give you 87.4 octane. When a bottle of octane booster says it will boost your octane 3 points it means .3 usually in a mix of ten gallons. Half a tank is 13 so even less benefit.

Torco works, but will turn your plugs orange

I would just wait, or mix it with 100 octane like said before (make sure it is unleaded)

I kind of have a similar question as the OP. So I currently have 92 octane gas in my truck and am waiting to empty it to start running my 93 tunes. Been looking around a little and have noticed 92 is the highest a lot of the gas stations carry here. I could have sworn I have filled up with 93 around here before so I may just have to keep looking. One thing I was thinking though, would it be safe to just fill up with 92 and then add octane booster? Or would that do more damage than good? Next option would be to just run the 89 tunes. Does anyone know if Mike at 5star allows you to exchange tunes. Like if I have 2 custom 93 tunes, can I exchange them for 2 89 tunes? Thanks in advance.

Nevermind, just got an email back from Mike at 5star and he says you can run the 93 tunes on 92 octane no problem.
