I know the economy wont dyno well, I not even gonna waste my time. I just want it for the added mileage if I wanted all out power I would have kept my 850rwhp cummins lol. I didn't get to dyno today as it was raining so I am going to have to do it tomorrow. The drivability is way better than stock, this is how it should have drove from the beginning. I don't know what I was thinking tho time will tell if I am right but I think I threw away 1000 bucks on the warranty. I don't see how this tune could actually hurt the truck and since I have 25K on it I would guess nothing is wrong now with the motor anyway. Oh well its good piece of mind

Reduced boost makes more sense and I wasn't trying to argue anything, I am a professional mechanic/tech and your statement of "staying out of boost" sounded like you didn't know, just wanted to clarify is all.
Cant go wrong with 5* or MPT, I have both and they perform equally well.
I have 7 custom tunes, well I only count 6 because the 7th is an eco tune and it's worthless. I got the best economy on 5* performance tunes.
I have a lot of the different octane rated tunes because some parts of the country I might travel in do not have them all, last time I went to Oklahoma they didn't have 93. the top 4 tunes pictured are 5* and the last 2 are MPT.

I originally thought I would run the 87 tow/perf everywhere, but I really like the 91... Guess I shouldn't have tried that one first. lol Sorry for using my words incorrectly I was amazed at how fast it did the initial download. 5-6 minutes and it was done. I am used to waiting at least 10 for my old efi live tuned cummins...

I am really wishing I would have tuned this sooner at this point haha and tried some other tunes out before buying the warranty tune, The real reason I did was my wife would kill me after all the money we paid out keeping my cummins running down the road. Buying a tranny every year got kind of old for her after the 1st on lol

Well in stock form the best numbers I got were 300 hp. We didn't get a trq reading because we were trying to go fast in between rain storms. 91 perf loaded it did 335, not a bad gain, but that's just peak, as you get higher in the rpm band it falls off stock and tuned it stays strong to the point where it was close to a 70hp difference. I feel like it would have went 340-350 but we hit the limiter. On the graph you can see it still climbing to that point. No dyno on the 87 tow/perf tune since it started to rain again. All in all I am pretty happy with the results.

Ya, hp gains usually aren't huge. It's the torque gains that are. Too bad you couldn't get one.

I will re dyno when it is going to be nicer for more than 5 minutes lol. That's the nice part about owning a dyno, you can use it whenever you want. I would guess that the stock trq reading would be around 370ish considering the 18% loss in HP. So the Trq should be around 420-450 at the tires being conservative. With it running as good as it does now with the 335 I couldn't imagine running one of those tunes that supposedly takes it up to 380ish at the tires.
