6.2L Stutters
My 2013 Lariat with a 6.2L has 42000 miles. I bought it four months ago and I like the truck, but I am aggravated by one issue. If you just slightly step on the gas, it acts like the fuel mixture is too lean and the engine hesitates for an instant. If you hold it at a slight level of throttle input, it tends to kick gently, stuttering as I call it, not really bad but enough to be annoying. Otherwise it runs great.
Is this common behavior for 6.2's with todays emissions BS?

FFT ...
- bad fuel.
- water/moisture in the fuel.
- TPS out-of-whack.
- dirty MAF sensor.
- carbon build-up on the throttle body plate.
etc., etc., etc.

Yea, sounds like something is dirty....Did you check the air filter? Sounds like something minor I'm sure. Do you have any history on the truck? I have an '11 Lariat that I ordered with the 6.2. I'm at about 57,000 miles on her and she has run flawlessly since I took delivery. Hope you figure it out.

I recommend letting the certified techs at your dealership take a look at that stutter. PM your full name, best contact number, VIN, and dealership information; I'll enlist the aid of your regional customer service manager.
