I'm waiting for a good tuner to come out that addresses all of these factors:

*Boost stabilization at all RPMs, before and after shifts
*Slight increase in boost at peak... maybe 16-18 psi for 93 oct
*Torque management reduction
*Shift point updates and a major increase in shift firmness
*Tire size correcting ability for the speedo
*Gear ratio options for correcting the speedo
*Top speed limiter removed
*Remove the drive by wire "nannys"... aka 100% throttle = 100% throttle opening.
*Part throttle power improvements (boost increase, timing increase etc etc)
*Build some additional safety margin into the AFR at 75% throttle and up at the increased boost levels...
* MOST IMPORTANTLY...the flashes have to be stealth...undetectable in the script counts etc...

I think an honest 50-60rwhp gain at peak would be plenty, more importantly gains under the curve and part throttle...... I think most of this HP gain will come from stabilizing the boost mapping and removing throttle % nannys...

These trucks/Ecoboosts have plenty of potential, just a lot of restrictions for safety/longetivity..... I still think there is a good margin of safety we can have with additional tuning IF the truck owner is not a total idiot and doing top end runs on 87 oct or pulling 10k lbs up a 6% grade, wide open on 87 oct etc etc....

Now you guys get to it and let us know when you're done....and hurry up...

But seriously....you will sell a million of these things if you get everything in them that is needed and PROVEN to work....(aka...not like the FastLane tune....that runs 14.80s with a 90rwhp gain... )

x2 we call this a calibration not a tune
might add cold and hot idle start mapping to the list too
and TPMS adjustment..

Here we go with this s**t again!! You have a 5.0, STFU and quit worrying about the 3.5 Eco!! Look at the chart for your 5.0, then look at their chart when the 3.5 is released, that will answer your question as to which is faster, given that both motors are in the same setup. Lb for lb., same launch, similar drivers, good reaction times from both, the one with more torque and Hp wins!!

actually, look at trikeffex thread, his 11 fx4 5.0 ran a 14.75@94 at sea level with a 93octane 5star tune. my 11 4x4 eco ran 14.80@91 at 2200ft bone stock on 87. compare your heart out bud.

Would y'all stop with the 5.0 vs Ecoboost posts. Every post about information for tuners turns into one. Not everyone gets tuners to race. Yes it's nice to be faster but not everyday we are gonna race.

Umm, did you not read my sig? I have an ecoboost. There will always be a comparison between motors. I also know that a tuned EB should easily beat a tuned 5.0 if both are similarly equipped. Maybe you should focus on reading comprehension instead of EB insecurity.

i would be interested in a tuner if it was not traceable in the comp....i don't know if this is possible on the newer trucks though

True, but until that happens it would be nice to see a unbiased comparison of stock engines on the same dyno instead of the crap that came out of the PU.COM test.
Unfortunately anybody asking for comparison data is immediately attacked by both sides.
