Any love for the 5.0 or are these all EB tunes...

Got my 93 in my inbox today as well. Already been running 93 in the truck, ready to load the tune into the tuner. I left my work computer at work, which has all the software, will just wait until tomorrow while I am at work.
I can't believe how hard it pulls already, more power is going to be silly

The wife and I only went to see one house so my truck is still at a half a tank. I guess the 93 tune will have to wait until later on this week.
All the power numbers that we have been posting are for the EB 5 Star tune that just came out. However, 5 Star does makes tunes for all of the other 2011+ engines already and you can find the website here. Their will not be as much gains in power as the EB because the 5.0 is N/A, but I hear the tune is still a beast. I am sure there are others that can vouch for it. If you already have a 5 Star tune and want to make a review then go for it, it's no skin off my nuts. The more the merrier.
That is exactly what I was thinking. I don't know how he got it to pull so hard with just the 87 that I am almost frightened to plug in the 93. He wasn't lying in the description when he said it really pulls like a diesel now.

They might. Have them give you the strategy code they use if do. The best bet to me is use the SCT to get it off your pickup. I'd maybe check it before and after the trip to dealer. Then you will know for sure what's in there, and what code to give to Mike.

Hey thank you very much for your reviews guys . We do try hard to develop the best all around maps as there is so much more to a tune than wide open throttle. Just some points on the 91/93 maps. Where the 91/93 trumps the 87 maps will be from around 3k rpms and up to 5.6k.. for more tq/hp. There is more timing that can be added but it would defeat the purpose of what we feel is a safe map that can tow vehicles capacity with out high unsafe egts and high cylinder pressures. Both maps will work great for any purpose.
thank you again
Mike

Just ordered the 87 and 91 tune, wanted the 93 but its impossible to find 93 octane here. Been running the 91 SCT tune for a couple of weeks drove about 1500 miles with it, ready to see how the 5-star compares!
