Ok I'm new to the site. And I just got my F150 Ecoboost like three weeks ago. And I'm living it. My father got the big boy toy F 150 king rancher Ecoboost. And I got the XLT. But still live it. I seem all the talk about the programmer. I have some questions.
Can the dealer know if you have one if you take it of?
What's a good one for the price?
I seem everyone talk about Mike who is this and how can I get ahold of him?

Just talked to him over the phone about an hour ago about a tire size change adjustment.

Im kind a bummed. My tuner from 5star is expected tomorrow. Today I experienced the dreaded inter cooler problem ingesting water from two days of rain after a high speed pass. Got a bad miss with two cylinders tripping the CEL. Now I have really bad MPG (19.5mpg down to 13mpg) Hwy. Scheduled service for Monday where they most likely will re flash in a feeble attempt to correct. I know that a new intercooler design is in the works.
Now I have to wait to see what the new flash is b4 trying this out and wait for new maps from 5star.
BTW I reset the CEL after stopping by the dealership to schedule apt but I still get bad MPH. Am I in limp home mode or something. Truck runs fine now but cant get MPH back.

Apparently, some of these "events" lead to broken up catalyst in the converter. This can lead to high exhaust pressure, which can cause terrible fuel mileage. Part of the TSB is to replace the catalyst.
