I just loaded the 93 Perf/Tow tune. However it wasn't emailed to me, it was already on the device when I received it.[/QUOTE
yeah I know it works that way. Mike said I could mail the sct tuner back to him and he could load the tune for me and then mail it back to me if I wanted. Or I could wait for SCT to come out with a fix, this sucks.

Sorry to hear. Based on the shipping of when I got my device you would be looking at roughly 5 business days to get it back (figure 2 to get it to him, 1 to have him load it, and 2 more to get it back to you). Did he happen to say when SCT would have the fix?

If you have had any updates from the dealer or other tuners your strategy may not match what is written on your ECM (or wherever it is written, I haven't been able to find it).
I am having an issue with getting Mike's 93 tune loaded. Been working with him since they day he released the 93 tune. Been exchaning emails and working with SCT also.
I can get the 87 tune to load fine and really enjoy driving it but have been unsuccessful to load the 93 tune. Gets to "Setup Device" goes to 100% then gets stuck.
I am very happy with the 87 tune but run premium most of the time because I feel I get better results from the truck (not open for debate discussion, I see/feel a difference in different areas, not looking for opinions) and want to run the 93 tune for the added up top power when needed.

Hi Guys
Sorry about the issues not being able to flash to the 91-93 maps. SCT is still working on it. The issue is on some of the strategies or pcm code templates; when we send out any email tunes we have to convert the file into an email format file .cef type file. Well the file doubles in file size and creates the memory storage issue that you have seen. A work around to this would be just send back your device and let us load the maps onto the device direct from the software basically skip the .cef file conversion and ship it back out to you.
sorry for the issue the files are just large imho,
call me if you have any questions
thank you
Mike
ps Economy tunes are looking really good. Should be a little faster than Freds car and might be worth it if you pick up 2 to 4 mpg.

FX4 SCrew TT'd V6
Sent mine in on Saturday, driving the truck in stock form blows. Now I know why I haven't looked at new trucks already (have a bad habit of changing vehicles every 6 months), this ecoboost with the tune is crazy when tuned which has kept me really happy with this truck. Quiet, powerful and rides nice for a 4x4 truck.
I miss my tuner alread (will be worth the wait though)
