lol comparing 5 star to livernois on performance is pretty much off the charts. if you want performance refer to the prior threads and go with livernois, Socal or Unleashed. 5 star holds too much knock throughout the RPMs, their best tune is a tow tune.

So is there any tuner that offers a good tow tune like 5* and a good performance tune like Livernoise?

Basically i want to buy from one tuner, (livernoise, 5* use different tuners) to do both. I tow on the weekends, and would benefit from a good tow tune... But the rest of the time i like to play around and having a good performance tune is important as well.

SoCal Builds a Tune specifically to your truck and wants. and will not Stop until you are completely satisfied. i've noticed the Rest just have base calibrations and have a much harder time adjusting parameters to your wants and likings. these are just my gatherings. ive had 5 star,MPT, Tried unleashed but never got a response. and currently running a socal and never looking back. 110% satisfied and we have 0 bad reviews other than having to pay for a box code.

Instead of listening to people's opinions, here what I would do. Go to each of the companies "official" and "unofficial" threads and starting from the first page count the engine/ tuning problems they had. Once you gather BOTH.... I would think there will be a clear winner

I had no less than 10 tunes from livernois curtailed to MY WANTS. Thanks. I had a tow tune that delivered power throughout and gained 2.5mpg doing it all the way to a race gas + nitrous tune.

Livernois here too. The performance tunes are awesome to drive and their tow tune performs awesome pulling both our dump trailer and our 4 place enclosed. I have yet to have a failure with my tunes or any hiccups switching back and forth between the two, 13,800 miles and getting much better mileage than stock when I compare.

Well I just got a 93 Perf tune from SoCal along with a. 87 Perf tune and I'll tell you Socals 87 tune will beat 5 stars 93 tune hands down , I can only imagine what the 93 tune from them will be like , I will install it later this week , tank is 3/4 of 87 gas. the other. Tuners better go and reinvent new tunes

While I agree with you on SoCal being quicker than 5* perf tune, but it has some work to beat Livernois still. I have all 3.

Livernois hands down the winner period. LMS against tha world LOL. The tunes LMS have are perfect a lot a lot of testing goes into them and it shows. Drivability the best look through all the treads and compare complaints and see who has the least amount winner LMS. See who makes the most HP winner LMS. Who started it all with the ECOBoost winner LMS. LMS is the big dog in the game for the ecoboost everyone else is trying to keep up. If u don't believe read look try it out the new V10 tune will haul *** out do any tune on the market. And competition keeps them to work hard to stay on top. LMS is the performance makers for these trucks. I spent my money well on this and I don't have to pay for update or tweaks I want. Some guys try diff tunes from other change this tune that tune pay for this one that one. Well I get the hook up when they keep breaking ground with these trucks no money out of pocket and I know it will work. So I will get off my soap box. Keep up the good work LMS!!!
