if not, does any tuner do this for the F150 5.0? i had that on my 2011 Mustang 5.0 and it was a beast.
That's what they did for my Lincoln LS. In fact, I've been so busy I need to send them a new log. They even sent me an email asking if I was fully satisfied with my tune. They wanted WAY to much to tune my F150, but it was very affordable to tune my Lincoln and I didn't like the tune I had on it before (he's fixed most of those issues, but I as I said earlier that's my fault).

i received the same email. Very satisfied with my performance tune, not so much the economy tune. Should have listened to those who were telling me to not even bother. Oh well,. for $55 it was worth a shot

That's my point, for that price it's worth it just to have the ECU how you want even if it doesn't get better mpg. That being said, my Lincoln gained 0.6mpg on the last tank over the best tank I've ever had in the last 5 years.

Update for the MPT 93 performance tune:

Very nice upgrade in power, shifting, and throttle response. The only issue is the engine is pinging badly. I am working with Ken at MPT currently. He sent me a revised tune which did not help. I am now going to data log the engine and send it to Ken for review.

Can someone give me some tips on data logging? He wants low throttle log and WOT 3rd gear 2500 to 5000 rpm log. Should I turn off the log between the pulls?

He said if the pinging is excessive to abort the pull.

How bad is pinging on the engine??

Pinging is not good. With my Perfomance tune the knock sensors were set to a "global setting" so knock did not register when i logged it. My exhaust is too loud for me to hear whether or not mine is knocking or not. However i'll be going back to a stock muffler soon to see if my knock is there or if the noises i was hearing was just in cab drone from my exhaust setup.
WHen i logged my performance tune i did it both ways. Both in the same log and separate. He was able to adjust the tune regardless of logging style.

Let me know if knock sensors register when you log.

Pinging is BAD, VERY BAD! Pinging is the sound detonation makes. Detonation is pre ignition of the fuel in the combustion chamber. It can lead to melting plugs, eating holes into the heads and pistons and even cracked rods. These are extremes of course but I suggest you don't so WOT until you get that fixed!!

I would call them and ask to give you a safer tune to start with. Are you running the correct octane for the tune? They know about all other mods when they wrote the file?

Running Valero 93 octane pump gas. Drop in K&N filter.

Yeah that's as basic as you can get. I'd call them and talk to them. There customer service is great. I called 3-4 times before ordering mine and not once did I feel rushed to get off the phone.

Mine is a 87 Performance Street. Airaid JR intake with stock air filter(not the Airaid, made way to much noise), and a resonator delete and although i haven't datalogged it yet it seams perfect and I couldn't be happier. Pulls hard!!!
