X2

Also, how did you clean the RX can? Can it be disassembled? It didn't look like it can be, from the pics I've seen.

But it doesn't say anything about how the top of the line UPR can stacks up against the RX, which is already top of the line, and that's what should be addressed now because that's what would make this test more informative.
All I'm saying is that if it's possible to put the 2 competing price points against each other, then it should be done. The flagship UPR can is priced similarly to the RX can, whereas your test uses the version of the UPR can that's half the price of the RX. An apples to apples test would be more informative.

He used the base entry RX can in the test. To do this apples to apples he would then want RX's top of the line against any others top of the line. How did you make that assumption? This one is less then $200, the RX top of the line unit is over $350. Some one playing you with mis-information I suspect. i would ask a RX dealer before stating something un-true such as that. Let the test play out in reverse now as you demanded and see the results.

And pick any other can as well for the test......many costing twice the RX's price.

Also, it DOES trap and remove all the mix of oil/water/un-burnt-fuel, etc. as stated and proved thousands of times, just as Ford is testing on 23 problem ecoboosts currently. How about we see what they find?

These are on available through one of the supporting vendors here, NOT direct from RX

Speaking of unvalidated assumptions, are you saying my setup does not trap 100% or close to 100% of it? Have you tested the new flagship UPR against the RX 'entry' can you mention that I didn't even know he was using? (Ford850 never actually mentioned that he was using the base model RX can). So there should be 2 tests done comparing the flagship UPR to both RX cans. The UPR with all upgrades is priced between the RX base and RX flagship cans. I know you guys haven't done any of that yet so when you do, I'll be interested to hear about it. However, I know this is business for you, and if you find that the flagship UPR is hanging toe to toe with Ford850's version of the RX can, you won't want to mention it, or you will downplay it. If that's the case, I understand. I'll be running my own TB test which is all I need to get the answer I've been seeking.
I just installed the baffle in mine (which by the way contains more filter medium) and have barely gotten a chance to drive the truck yet, so in the coming weeks I'll clean my TB and do a before and after test.
BTW, it's interesting that RX has a base and a higher level can. I thought they were all engineered perfectly from the start and they all catch 100% of it, creating one standard and eliminating the need for different tiers within the RX line. You learn something new every day.

I have two concerns about the RX can.

The check valve. What happens if it fails?

Also, can the RX can be disassembled to be cleaned? Again, it looks like a sealed unit from the pics I've seen.

I'm not sure how or if the RX can is supposed to be cleaned. It is sealed and normally I wouldn't see a reason to clean it since oil, fuel, and water are constantly blasting in it, and then drained out when it is emptied. But I wanted to start with clean cans again so I rinsed them both with solvent several times. Then I blew out the RX with air for a while to evaporate anything remaining. Probably not the best method, but it seems to work well and definitely closer to clean for both cans.
As for the comments about the test not being fair... I don't know what else to say. I started the test with what was available at the time. You want me to go buy more cans and upgrades because one the manufacturer is changing things while I'm testing? What happens if I do that and the other company makes changes in a few more weeks? There's no end to that. The test is what it is. If someone else wants to do a different test, then go buy some cans and have at it. More tests provide more data which is good.
