I had a 2011 screw 2wd first and with a cai,5star tune and no cats with a 26" drag radial it ran 14.0@99
So what im saying is the short tire for the lower gear at the track would help you

^^ you plan on modding it? At least the basics I'm sure....large single turbo and spray then call it a day lol. Anyway, the platinum is a nice choice. The Ecoboost limited is catching my eye now.

Are you guys noticing any real gains with a cai? I have never seen real gains in the past, and so far with just a 91 tune from 5 star, my fx4 is running about .5 seconds quicker (according to gtech) than stock, still low 15's which is a long ways from mid 14's so something's up.

on an untuned truck I dont think there is any real performance gains to be found. I did not see any seat of the pants gains from my Roush.
but with a custome tune, it may be a different story. a good custom tune written for a truck with a CAI will probably see some gains.
