Just have a decent exhaust shop cut and weld a new 3" in/out muffler in place of the stock one. I left my cats and the resonator so that it would have a louder growl when I get in the throttle, but not wake my neighbors every morning or drone on the highway.

E85 is comparable to around 95 octane. E100 gets closer to 100 octane but nowhere near 117. Also, don't forget that you can lose serious mpg if you daily drive your vehicle. My jlp e85 tune got me 12mpg on the highway and is only $0.20 cheaper per gallon in this part of the country. While my 91 (no ethanol) 5star tune feels just as fast and I'm getting 18 mostly city driving. The cost is just not worth it. I did love the trans tuning on the JLP e85, will deffinetly get a 91tune from them soon.

It was much more aggressive in shift points, shift firmness, and holding the gear when downshifting. It felt like the converter locked quickly and stayed locked at all times accept when coming from a stop. The 5star tune still has much better than stock trans tuning but not as aggressive. The 5star at 91 seems to actually have more aggressive engine tuning than the e85 JLP. As soon as I get a JLP 91 tune I'm going to back to back test them at the track to see what the difference is there.

Nope, e85 = 95 octane R+m/2. The issue is that the tests that measure octane are made for gasoline without any type of alcohol blend. So even though e85 is only 95 octane, it has been said that because of the cooling properties of alcohol it can achieve the same ignition advance levels as running a 105+ octane race fuel.

yes, on a motor octane scale, it is reffered to as 95, for anti knock rating it is near 120. Alcohols are VERY hard to ignite, hence the high anti knock. In reality, the fuel will perform simmilar to racing gasoline in the 112-115 octane range. It is also very forgiving, with a very large tuning window (assuming you run enough of it). People are realy just starting to get the fully idea of what the fuel is capable of. I have friends that have 22-25 psi boosted motors running the stuff at over 1100 rwhp, and we havent seen the limit yet!! I switched to the stuff in my drag car over C12 and picked up 0.15 seconds at 1/3 rd the cost. Great as a race fuel, but as a daily driver.....not so much, unless you have to run some very high octane already.

The boss manifold should work with my k&n intake right?.. And will headers make my truck too loud?..already have manga flow catback..I want the headers but don't want things to get rowdy driving around the neighborhood
