Just went 440 miles this weekend and average 19 mpg @ 68 mph. I have 3300 miles on the truck. I know this is hard to answer, but any idea how long until the truck is "broken in" and any thoughts on mileage improvement I could possibly see? Just curious.

That's about the right mileage at that speed. It might improve a little more, but not much.

2011 5.0 SuperCrew 4x4, just hit 60,000 miles this past weekend. The trip computer usually says 20+ as I don't drive in town much anymore. Trip from MD to CT and back we got 20.0mpg keeping it between 70-80mph. That's driving the length of the NJ Turnpike and sitting in traffic going both ways. Truck is stock other than the big round resonator was removed since it had started to rust out and leak.

Just drove roughly 900km from Toronto Ontario to Simsbury Con. and got 20.4 MPG. Their are alot of long hills on the I90 going threw New York State. Driving on average 115 KM/H. Very happy with mileage.

Yah it is a SCrew with a 6'5" box. Three adults with luggage for a week.

Lifetime mpg at 21000 miles is 17.8. A lot of that doing 75-80 or higher and a lot of off road and 4 wheel drive use. Also hauled a Harley road glide from Las Vegas to Alanogordo and a bed full of crap on the way back.

That's the low side of what I get @ 68mph if I'm dealing with a stiff head/cross wind. Cross wind seems to hurt more than a head wind. Sunny 75*f day with no wind is running 70mph will ring up ~21mpg hand calculated for me with Scab 4x4 and a tonneau cover and stiff wind drops me to ~19mpg. Just turned 10k on the ODO
