Anyone know if this was accomplished? Was it just through the PCM and programming or something else? I would like to know if it would be something I could do to my 2011 5.0 to increase the HP and tq.

Kind of funny; you answered your own question about your truck in your first post but then say you can't do it.


As has been said, get a tune. You won't achieve the results exactly like Ford did, but you will still be very happy with the tuned truck.

My question is, if you were to buy the parts and make the changes on an 11-14 5.0, what kind of ecm programming would you need to make it run right? I might consider doing such a thing if the cash outlay wasn't ridiculous, but is want to see the dyno charts for the two engines to make sure the added power would be where I wanted it. Specifically, down low, not at the top of the RPM band where it's useless on a truck except for bragging rights. I'm thinking these mods combined with a custom tune would be very good.
