Ecoboost shudder question/advice
Sorry if this is a common topic. My 13' ecoboost has had the shudder, enter limp mode issue 3 times. Once in the rain on the highway when passing. Pulled over turned the truck off and back on and it functioned like nothing had happened. Was able to get home and had no issues since.
Fast fast forward a year. I have know had the shudder issue happen twice in the last month, both times on sunny days while driving under 45 mph and not accelerating hard. Both times it entered limp mode, had to pull over and turn the truck off while it was clearly misfiring and running very rough. I fear is is becoming more frequent.
The truck is out of warranty and has 63,000 miles. I'm also averaging poor gas mileage. Not sure if it is related. 11 mpg in town.
Is there a TSB that can be performed by Ford at no cost out of warranty? I'm the second owner and I am not sure what TSB if any has already been performed.
Should I just drill the 1/16 hole in the CAC? Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks!

There is a huge thread on this located on this same page.
Drill the hole. Replace your plugs with sp534's gaped at .030. And if it persists, the coil boots.
