Thanks to this thread i just found out that the tee on my 2013 5.0 was my slow leak and replaced it. Pretty cheap and easy to do, plus it's a god excuse to clean your TB as well.
I also suggest replacing the upper radiator hose as well. It has a quick disconnect to the tee that houses a flat o-ring. My o-ring was so worn down it wouldn't form a tight seal to the new tee I bought. I replaced the flat o-ring with a round one I had on hand. It's not ideal but it's holding for now. I'll probably replace the hose this spring once it warms up again.
Ditto jaygreen. Found drips coming off brace under the oil pan. Thought mightÂ’ve been coming from heater core area initially. Removed the skid plate and found the culprit.

The inky way I found it was I kept having a wet spot in the ground under my truck .and I was like that’s more then condensation from ac so crawled under looked up and saw it .. I was like you little bastard ! .. my part house threw me a deal for 100 for upper hose and tee they said usually it’s 130
Yes, one more thing to do for ourselves that is poor engineering on Ford's part. Will plan to replace the hose/tee early by 70,0000 miles, keep an eye on it up to then. Already did the fuse 27 relocate (2013, 5.0). Hope we are getting close to the end of this list of things that should not happen. Guess it does take some time and owner miles for a lot of this to show up for most manufacturers. Not excusing Ford on any of it though.

Such a ridiculous design, can't be cheaper! Must ave been a long time money maker repair thought for them! Sad!

You could probably buy bulk hose and fittings and rerun all the connections yourself. Its probably not worth the hassle for the amount of time it would take, and its probably not worth the money either.
You could just try replacing the faulty o-ring, but after going through all that work I think its easier just replacing the $30 part IMO

There is one called Pegasus (I think) it repairs I think the hose from degas to radiator with different parts.
Has anyone just replaced the O-ring? I read on another forum the issue was related more to the O-ring shape and not the connector. I recently purchased the O-ring without the connector but hasn't came in yet. Didn't want to do the work twice if anyone had any input in it. Thanks

I first tried to replace the o-ring with a non-factory Buna-N o-ring that I had lying around, since I thought it would make a better seal. It leaked like a sieve and I just replaced the whole connector. That was about 2 years ago and its leaking again. I'm just replacing the whole thing with bulk tubing and a clamped y-connector this time for a permanent seal. It'll take a bit longer and be a bit more expensive like I said in my last post, but I'm fed up with this leak...
