I currently have 35's 35/12.50/(stock R20). Toyo AT II. On my 2012 FX4. I have no spacing, no cutting or anything. The only issue I have is at full crank 30+ degrees left/right it rubs the arm. Also another note is measuring these tires it is exactly 33 1/2 inches. I have a leveling kit installed only. So I think if you're thinking an aggressive tire with a "35" pick em up. They do great on and off road.
