out of warranty....ford MIGHT goodwill some of it if you are nice about it

The original warranty 3 year 36 month when i bought the truck i got the 6 year 60k warranty but since there has been issues it was moved up 5 year 60k Well i hope what i paid for will get moved up too and im at 69k
I have found low mileage 2015 3.5 something changed but will it still work somewhere i see it is just the intake manifold Could i just put my manifold on it

Well it's under warranty Ford told me today that my 6 year 60k was moved up to a 7 year 75K so i am good for another 6 months
I will be getting the latest and greatest updated motor

I was at the stealership picking up one of our work trucks
I asked about the rod braking he tells me that he never herd of this happening to a 3.5 eco

just out of curiosity, how did you get the extra year and 15k miles? my dealer tells me there is no extra warranty for my 2013 ecoboost…

I bought the extended warranty when bought the truck 6 year 60 K I guess they moved the standard warranty up to 5 year 60 K I asked if Ford moved the extended warranty up
what did i pay for ? Well it was moved up to 7 / 75 K Today it finely went in to the stealership Of course they tell me we never seen one of these 3.5 throw a rod out the block

My truck is at the dealer
There asking for service records and receipts for 6 years I work for a oil company and i am there mechanic
I made service records for every 5k oil changes I always used Motocraft filters it's whole life
who keeps receipts for 6 year of oil filters

I actually keep every receipt for maintenance on my vehicles for as long as I own them. I Just file them away in the envelope in the glove box.

Ford won't even pick up the phone for that call! sorry...

Im not a fan of used engines unless you're selling it.

If you like the truck, and its in good shape drop a crate engine into her.
