2013 XL battery replacement only now won't start
I bought my truck used two years ago, assuming it had OEM battery so that fact it needed to be replaced after 7 years is completely logical that it was shot. I had to jump start the truck three different times to get out of town and back home a couple weeks ago before I could get a new battery purchased and installed. I had no issues other than the truck needing to relearn the driving pattern after being jumped two of the three times. All I did was disconnect old battery, remove in and replaced it with new battery. I turn the key on and I get everything one would expect, fuel pump, relays, radio, lights, everything but starting. I get the "Starting System Failure" display and that's it. I've tried looking at so many post to reset anti-theft, keys, 8 hours for BCM, I have nothing. Is there anyone who can please guide me to what I'm missing?

Disconnect and reconnect the batter cables.
Sometimes a poor connection will light up all the goodies but not have a good enough connection to send signal to the starter.
There was a thread here a few months ago where the started needed to be replaced -I think OP had a few failed batteries in a row, so they though. Depending on if the system experienced a poor grounding or arching situation I could see it plausible but it would be the absolute last thing I would ever consider on a vehicle that new in our modern day.
Disconnect, clean the post and clamps and reconnect. Make sure you didn't disconnect a wire (ground?) and forget to reconnect it.
By cleaning, I mean a wire brush if you have one. You probably will not see any connectivity issues with your naked eye.
