Default 26 MPG's very possible. Picture is worth a thousand words

2011 Screw with 3.15 open rear, driving 65mph avg. This is thru the rolling piedmont of NC more than 40 miles on the highway with 100% gas. As you can see, 30 minute average displayed. I don't haul anything but a boat and the family. It's just a bad *** truck that works hard when I need it.

I'm jealous. I could get similar results if I set the cruise at 55mph.

I've seen numbers similar to that in the right conditions.

I was surprised. My eco gets 2mpgs better with the ethonol free gas (about $5-$6 savings a tank.)

But I was going with the flow of Charlotte traffic. I knew I had a bit of a drive so I reset it right as I got on the hwy. I was pleased with the result.

How accurate is the dash reading though? The one in my car is always around 2 mpg high by the end of the tank

I believe it is pretty accurate; although, pictures can be very deceiving, if someone wants to mess with people. I know with mine, it will say like 60 mpg when coasting ha.

But that isn't your average. His picture clearly says avg mph.

if you just reset it, it would be say it was your average. the difference here is that he shows the 30 minute history.

Yep, I didn't bring that up because I'm saying anybody is lying or anything. With the 30 minute average, it is very legit, and pretty cool as well.

Exactly why I set it to 30 minute average. If you'll notice, I just tripped the 10,000 mile mark when I reset my mpg gauge. I have heard the possibilities of the ecm giving better mpgs after a certain mileage. This is the best I have ever achieved and makes me wonder.
