Default 2013 or 2014 eb

Have they fixed the engine shutter in these trucks? A redesigned charge air cooler? I'm trading my 2011 this week if they have.

What engine shutter? My 2011 hasn't shuttered once in the 3 years that I've owned it.

Guess everyone is playing stupid, or pretending the more they say "No issues with mine" will somehow erase the past EB problems.

OP, its pretty established that the 2013's built after Sept 18, 2013 should be fine, and the 2014s have also been good. The data here suggests that the 2013 and most likely the 2014s are no more likely to have issues than other engines: https://www.f150forum.com/f38/ford-f...133795/index3/

He is implying there is a shutter problem on all 2011 -2012 ecoboosts. I am showing factual evidence I've never had this problem.
