Has anyone heard of a fix for engine surge problems with the 2012 F150 5.0? When barely touch the throttle to slowly move off the truck will start to surge up and down like I'm pumping the gas up and down. It continues until I let off the accelerator completely. The most recent time was pretty violent. In addition I've also experience rough engine idle. Both issues have existed since the truck was purchased new. In gear with my foot on the gas the tachometer will bounce up and down a tic or so and it feels like a slight engine miss. I brought it to the dealer several times for these issues and I was told each time that they could not find anything wrong. BS! The problem is intermittent which makes it more difficult to address but something IS wrong. I didn't bring the truck in multiple times for the fun of it! If someone knows of a fix please let me know. Of course it will cost me money now that the truck is out of warranty even though the problems existed and were reported to the dealer when the truck was brand new! Thanks for any help provided.

Its hard to believe that nobody has experienced this problem or has any relative information to offer on the cause/fix for these problems... It's an aggravating issue with no apparent fix. This is the first f150 I've purchased and I guess it will be my last.

mine does it every so often when I just start and am about to pull off. like you said if I ease up off the throttle a little it goes away. I'm with you on gaining any info about this...

Same as you, rough idle and surging. Done it since new. Nobody ever able to figure it out.

The second two responses dont mention what year, engine trucks they have....... but for the OP if he hasn't got it fixed yet you may want to check out TSB-13-1-10.
