I am sure it will be fine and they will be able to either fix my problem if there is one or they will be able to explain things to me.

Either way, I am just glad that I can get it looked at and fixed if there is a problem.

I'm not sure what trim level your F150 is or what options you have but if you find the revs are annoying you there is a work around. If you have the auto start with the productivity display you can enable a quiet start when you command start the truck. That keeps the revs lower, but it would take longer to fully warm the engine up. Hope you're enjoying your new truck. I know I am!

I have the Lariat, but no automatic start setup on the truck. I might add that on later, but right now it's not a big thing on the list. I went to the dealer today and the sound I was hearing was the fuel injectors. I guess I was just never use to hearing anything like that from my other trucks.

As for the third brake light problem, they are going to fix that for me. The problem I was having there is that it has water inside of the lense each time it rains, I wash it, or just in the morning from the condensation or whatever.

Another problem is the keypad in the door, but they are going to replace that for me as well.

Default ticking noise on left side

I have a 2012 f150 ecoboost v6. I have also heard ticking Does this have anything to do with the cam phasers? Do they even have the cam phasers in the 2012's. your response would be appreciated. Lee

On the Ecoboost, the sound is most likely your High Pressure Fuel Pump, nothing to worry about...
