Unhappy 2012 3.5L EcoBoost Coil Packs stuck

Hi guys.
New to the forums. Did a search of the issue and found one other person with the same issue but no solution.
I am trying to replace my spark plugs but when I remove the coil pack, the rubber on the end that goes around the spark plug gets stuck around the spark plug and comes off of the coil pack. Didn't know what to do with the first one but get in there with needle nose pliers and try to pull it out. No luck. Ended up ripping the thing to pieces before all of it finally came off. Had to buy a new coil pack. Not looking to spend $200+ on new coil packs today as it is happening with the other 5 as well and is fairly time consuming/difficult.

Any ideas or help appreciated

Not sure why you would buy an entire coil pack for a torn boot. The boots are detachable from the coil pack by design and are replaceable items. At 3 bucks and change a piece, I replaced all six of mine the last time I did plugs.
