2011 F-150 5.0 CEL Flash
Hey forum,
I know this thread has been beaten to death in the past, but for the life of me I cannot find a thread that fits my issue. I had to have my engine replaced December of last year (dreaded 5.0 cylinder bore distortion). Ever since, the truck runs like a dream. I'm running 5 star's 87 perf/tow tune. In the last few months, however, when the engine is under load (pulling trailer or getting around someone @ 4,000-5,000 RPM around 75-90 mph) my CEL will flash repeatedly, but the truck just keeps on going. No shudder or anything like others mention. I cannot get a code to stick. Before going to ford, I have replaced all the "new" spark plugs, all ignition coils, and two injectors on cylinders 1 & 6, (truck threw hard codes for those cylinders a few times). I'm tired of throwing money at it and cannot see the ford dealer until later this week. I'm completely out of options as to what it could be. Y'all hit me with some opinions please.
Thanks.

A Flashing CEL is a classic sign of a Mis-fire condition..
