The dealer offers a lifetime power train warranty. It's called the. Its called the buy happy promise. Apparently that warranty is subbed out to an insurance company. That insurance company is what denied the warranty because they said I didn't change my oil every 5000 miles even though the computer says it can go up to 10k. The dealer stood by that and told me I'm out of luck. I'm going to try to sue them under a lemon law or something of the like.

Did the warranty say you had to change the oil every 5k?... If so, that is what counts. Failure do so voids the contract.

The aftermarket warranty is a separate contract. You have to abide by it to keep it in force.

You have to read the warranty paperwork before you have an issue. You were negligent by not doing that. Sucks but you should have read it.

I bought a extended warranty and it was one of the first things I read. Gotta protect yourself man.

Right. I'm the idiot for following the manual. Won't matter, I'm buying a Ram 1500.

Believe it or not, my name is Ram Mehta. I own a perfectly maintained by the book first generation f150 ecoboost 2011 I paid $45k for. My daughter has almost 8 million views on YouTube. She caught the big bass on a barbie toy rod, you may have seen it as she was on the today show on NBC. I have friends all over the world and everyone will know or does know Ford makes a ****ty truck.

I'm buying a Ram because they are not $55k.
