2011 ecoboost noise on start up

I know your frustration, but the motor isn't "toast". I'm on my second chain and that one has been rattling for almost 30,000 miles. If my engine was toast it would have let go by now.
- add in the fuel dilution (this truck has it)
- add in the moisture ingestion from CAC (this truck has had it multiple times)
- add in the long oil service intervals.
This truck is a lemon and I'm not letting up until it's fixed.

Just a point of contention.... The F150 Ecoboost was NEVER spec'ed for 5w20. Never, ever, ever. The car engines were spec'ed for it for 1 model year only and then the entire Ecoboost line was transitioned to 5W30. Why? No idea, but there are plenty of the car engines running happily on 5w20 since 2009.
That's a good idea. I hope you get the properly running truck you deserve.

Update December 7th 2014
So as stated many, many posts ago (since my truck isn't fixed) and i am not happy about I am going to file a CAMVAP case.
For you Canadians out there with this issue you might be interested to know the stats for these cases with Ford F-150's. I found it rather comical.
From 2011-2013 There appear to be 57 CAMVAP complaints against Ford F-150's.
42 of these complaints ruled in favor of the consumer = 73% in favor of consumer. Resulting in repairs, buy backs and reimbursements.
16 of those claims were against engines.
12 of the engine claims sided with the consumer. = 75% of engine claims in favor of consumer.
With my documentation, videos, and information gathered I'll be going for a new engine in the truck. I don't take this stuff lying down
With Ford's poor success defending these claims I'll take my chances. Worst case scenario they win and refuse to fix it until it breaks again. I'll be out some time and effort.

GOOD LUCK! Any questions regarding CAMVAP, please ASK. Email me again, or PM me.
He agrees there could be a deeper problem with the motor and will wait to see how Ford Engineering wants to proceed. I will play ball because it only makes my CAMVAP case stronger showing that I am giving them ample opportunity to fix it.

First noticed it in August. Been happening more and more. Usually worse if it sits longer. This was from this morning and it had only been sitting about 12 hrs. 95k miles on my 2011 so I'm out of luck even on emissions warranty. May be bringing it in next week.

Naw its a bad video not talking about the squeal...its not the vacuum pump either I literally just put one in as that was making noise. Its the chain I'm hopeful I'll be able to let it sit this weekend a bit longer and get a better video.
