Since owning my 2011 EB 6.5 Screw Lariat, I have been having an issue where it feels like the transmission is slipping or skipping gears when shifting from 2nd to 3rd. When the engine/trans is cold, everything shifts fine. After 2-5 minutes, the slipping feeling kicks in. It almost feels like it's shifting from 2nd to 4th but it's not. This does not happen in tow mode or manual shift mode. It's annoying and doesn't feel right and causes a lagging feeling when shifting (not turbo lag). Has anybody experienced this? Should I ask for a re-flash from the dealership? It seems like it's only getting worse the more I drive it.

 

+ 1, exept mine shifts more chitty when cold. I kinda like this warmer weather, the truck doesn't shift like a 1980 camaro with a shift kit. The funny thing is, i can go days with it shifting perfectly normal. My wife actually noticed it from riding shotgun(she won't drive my truck)for her to notice that 3rd gear hard shift, takes alot for her to notice anything automotive. 5th gear has done some funny shifting to as of lately, like you stated above. Two sum it up, it is the only thing that bothers me about this truck, one weird shifting tranny. Fine one drive, shifts like chit on the next drive
