Add me to the list of one's at the expansion tank... Saw the fix on amazon when I was actually looking for a new hose. Went that route seeing as it is a more permanent fix.

I know someone in this forum had asked before but I never saw a reply, does anyone have any good methods for cleaning the corrosion/old antifreeze off the metal steering components?

I think degreaser would be the way to go on that but I'm not sure myself... I should of added this yesterday but for in the future Pegasus does sell this in a kit on amazon for 37 bucks. Right now it's free shipping and so far I'm impressed with there shipping ordered lastnight before I left work and checked shipping and it will be here tomorrow.

Thanks Daniel...I had just ordered all the separate pieces from Pegasus last night and my total was $53 dollars. I called and cancelled and re-ordered through Amazon for $37...saved a few bucks!

Maybe I'm over thinking this but what if it is my tank that is cracked? Been too cold here for me to want to try to go pull it off. If it is cracked can I use some jb weld to possibly close it?

Hey Daniel - I just ordered my kit as well. You mind doing a separate thread on how the install goes? It seems very straight forward, but so does other things I tend to screw up (ask the wife)! LoL 😂

Good luck!

Yep...thanks again. Pegasus has great customer service. They canceled my original order and immediately paypal'ed my money back to me. Then I re-ordered through amazon and they shipped it out today. Shows I will have it by end of day Thursday. From Wisconsin to NC in 2 days...can
t beat it.

Yeah I could try to make a thread on it. I didn't plan to pull my tank but more than likely I am now because I tend to over thing some things.

The shipping is really fast I'm in Michigan but still that's good for that far also.
