I believe recalls are reserved for safety related issues; but I do think a TSB is warranted.

Got the Amp repair on yesterday and now the hose bigger connector started leaking. O boy...this is getting frustrating.

Just called ford about the new leak hose (water pump). It's on back order and will not be in for 2 weeks or more. This sucks.

My 2011 has been in and out of the dealership the last few months with a coolant leak. So far they have replaced two hoses and the reservoir tank. I just got the truck back two weeks ago and it appears I am still losing coolant.

Does anyone know if a new Upper Radiator Hose include the o-ring in it or is the o-ring a separate part that would need to be ordered?

UPDATE: Just talked to a parts clerk at the Ford dealer. He says the o-ring/seal DOES NOT come with the Upper Radiator Hose.

My truck also lost some coolant and they said part numbers DR3z8566A and CL3z8260a were necessary for repair.

They are installing these today and hopefully that will resolve my issue.

Heres the leak I had , it sat one night then i walked out to this

I cant believe so many ford parts are backordered so often. it sucks.

I didnt read through entire thread, but why is this issue so common? defective part design?

I'm going to add on to this. My truck is currently at Ford as we speak. Everything is going to be replaced, even the resevoir. I was driving 2 nights ago and my check engine light came on. Used my sct tuner to read the code and it was P0128 ( coolant issue). I was informed by Ford that my resevoir had a crack and was leaking, thermostat was stuck open, and other crap I can't remember. This seems to be a common issue. Very frustrating

Your issue sounds a little bit different than the majority of the thread; but still a cooling issue nonetheless. Hope you get it fixed.

I got mine back , I think its fixed. They said it was ford part numbers DR328566a and CL3z8260a A nozzle thing and a hose. Im not sure if they cracked or what. Maybe they just got unplugged then ford said they needed to be replaced and charged me like 450$ They located the parts faster than expected.

Find out the part number yall need and check on ebay. Both of the parts i needed that ford said were backordered were available on ebay.
