2012 5.0L Crank No Start
New member here…
kinda stumped here .. 2012 xlt 5.0L 110k miles.
No check engine lights or warning leading up to the no start condition.
Cranks over but will not start. Rpm gauge does move when cranking
.Things I’ve checked replaced:
-checked fuse 27 and relay#8
-replaced fuel pump driver module
- Confirmed hearing fuel pump turn on
-Confirmed getting gas by pulling fuel rail line. Gas appears Good
-Confirmed getting spark
- Changed Spark plugs (motorcraft)
. I’m not a mechanic but usually able to fix my vehicles… I’d definitely appreciate any advice/direction from here. Thanks in advance

Fuse 27 issue: Its not the fuse that is the problem, its the actual slot for the fuse that overheats and melts over time. DId you look closely at the slot-fuse holder?

Do you have the Torque lite or Pro app? Or any scanning ability to see if rpm's are being read?
Might not be the issue now, but fuse 27 will leave you stranded at one point, unless you get the relocation kit.

Ok so after advice from my master mechanic buddy my truck is Running.. Kinda embarrassing but appears it was flooded.Held the gas to the floor and cranked it till it started, Blew white smoke out exhaust for about 10 minutes.
Unfortunately the next day it again wouldn’t start without putting gas to floor. Runs fine once started . Hoping it’s just bad gas and not the start of a bad fuel pump

Your truck should not have started with you holding the throttle pedal to floor.
