Exclamation 2011 5.0 speedometer calibration

I need help. I've searched and searched, yet I am running around in circles. I have a 2011 Lariat with a 5.0. I'm about to upgrade to some Toyo M/T 35x12.5's on the factory 20's. What i need help with is the speedometer calibration. A lot of guys have said to get an Edge tuner and that it'd work. I emailed them and the rep said none of their products have the ability to change tire size. I am awaiting responses from Hypertech and SCT and hopefully one of the two have something that'll work..

What I need is: guys with 2011 5.0's that have changed their tire size, how in the world did you calibrate the speedometer?? All help/suggestions are appreciated! Thanks!

I had the a bigger size tire put on my 2011 xlt with a 5.0. I just told them I wanted the speedometer calibrated to the tire size and they did it no problem. I have checked my speedometer with my garmin and it is dead on. I think it was $30 or $40 to have it done where I live.

What size of tire did you go with? And who did it, the dealer?

I know the raptor has like a 34.4 inch tire, which the dealer SHOULD be able to program into the truck's computer. I would think it'd be close enough to the 35's. But I'm not 100% sure. I would hope so, so I don't have to buy a programmer!

Thanks!

A dealer in Tennessee told me that they cannot set a regular F150 with the Raptor size due to the fact the raptor has a different computer. They said they would only be able to set it to what came from factory with regular F150 options.... in other words no where near close to 35's. I had the same problem with the 2004-08 trucks. I ended up buying a hypertech re-calibrator.

As for the FoMoCo dealership service department changing the speedometer calibration ... Using FoMoCo's IDS (Integrated Diagnostic System) tool they can flash the tire size parameter (RPM - Revolutions Per Mile) to any of the stock OEM values (including the value for the Raptor [its PCM may be (?) different, however, the table parameters are not]).
SCT also has the ability to adjust the tire size calibration.

I used Hypertech's speedo calibrator on my 2011 when I put 295/70/18 tires on and it worked great. the reason I went that route because it was cheap and im not ready for an actual tuner just yet
