2011 3.5L Ecoboost Turbo Problem - Help?
My 2011 Ecoboost F-150 makes these strange sounds that I think are coming from the Turbo on the passenger side.
Upon steady acceleration or sometimes just giving it enough gas to spool the turbos and then easing off the pedal slightly it makes this very loud belching type sound from the turbo area sometimes it lingers on...
This video was taken with a GoPro camera under the hood on the passenger side.
The lighting is poor but you can hear the sound several times in the video. (good example at 20 secs and 40 - 55 secs)
Ford is telling me it's the Bypass valves, which might be so but my other 2011 Ecoboost with 40,000km never made this noise once.
Any ideas?

Tuned or stock? I had a similar issue on my 11 with a tune but different tuner and it went away....

Do you agree it sounds like the Turbo doing something weird? It's sounds like someone trying to blow too hard through a straw or something.

Any ideas: My 2011 started making the same noise. Did you ever find out what the problem was? Thanks
