This thread is here so folks could post bragging rights about their trucks. Why come here and belittle it? When LMS was top dog they certainly made the most of it. If it doesn't interest you, find a thread that does.

These are not race cars, sure, but having the strongest tunes is still meaningful. Arguing otherwise - especially when you have one of the lesser tunes - is pretty strawman.

In the late 80's Buick was messing around with turbos on a V-6. Seems to me that they were running in the thirteens? Seems to me they were spanking the Corvettes at the time!Seems to me it upset the apple cart then also!

1984-1987 IIRC. Grand Nationals and Turbo T's. 1984 and 1985 they had no intercooler then in 1986 and 1987 they put intercoolers on. They actually had to under rate the HP those years because GM wanted the Corvette to be their big Horse Power car. My buddy had an '87 Turbo T and OMG was that thing an absolute blast to drive. Even completely stock they are quick. Nothin better than boost launching in that car.

Ok sorry. Back to topic.

Actually my comment is more sarcastic than anything, but I do thank you for the history lesson and helping to prove my point!

Instead of trying to brag about your (yawn!) 13 second tune only truck like your the baddest boy on the block, just let the times speak for themselves.

how about posting the times, da, tire pressure, launch technique, logging your track passes to evaluate parameters such as boost psi and timing instead of trying to act like your tuner and your truck are something special, because I can assure you they are not.

If the community here worked together instead of against each other the development of fast eco boost trucks would come along much faster.

Once these trucks go out of warranty, I predict people going more aggressive with mods and then we'll really see what these trucks are capable of. Trapping 100 in the 1/4 mile is about as exciting as watching an episode of keeping up with the kardashians IMO...

WHY you didn't buy a Gm truck to match that pos GTO you have in signature ?

Because I wanted to be a part of the cool kids club. Apparently I'm not cool enough to hang out with you guys. More beer for me then since I don't have to share!
